In response to this need, converting large, existing, and often vacant, properties has become a no-brainer for those with a vested interest in the development of the sport. As is the case with many agricultural societies, organizers with the Perth and District Agricultural Society learned that their current bleachers were no longer code compliant and at the same time, were looking to increase capacity to house growing crowds at the popular Perth Fair. https://hubs.li/Q02WNy6K0

Looking to outfit the new court with everything needed to provide a safe space to shoot some hoops, key stakeholders from THEO came to us in search of solutions. With an improved focus on mental health and wellbeing, more and more school boards are increasing spending on creating safe spaces for students, allowing them to develop at their own pace in a safe environment. Working with this board in the past, we designed and installed a number of these highly specialized padded rooms for a number of its other schools. https://hubs.li/Q02V3JLH0

Assessing the needs of the municipality, our team got to work designing four banks of our five-row aluminum bleachers to be set up behind the batting cages at the diamond. Another BIG congratulations to the winner's of this year's Ugly Bleacher Contest! After accumulating the most votes across Canada, we were proud to award Spiritwood Area Recreation with the prize of a BRAND NEW BLEACHER back in July. Since then, our team manufactured and shipped the bleacher where it was installed earlier this month. The smiles say it all! As a longtime customer of ours, the Renfrew County Central District School Board knows firsthand our abilities in the custom design space and so approached us with another challenge. The board needed a solution to divide a large cafeteria at one of their schools in order to separate food service and group study. Our team was promptly on-site to assess the space and any architectural or engineering challenges that might lie ahead. When it comes to larger equipment items such as gym dividers, it’s an area we tend to pay a great deal of attention to. Many school gyms across North America are equipped with some sort of divider for large gymnasium spaces and in many of those cases, those systems have been in place for a number of years or even decades. As time marches on, those outdated pieces of equipment can begin to malfunction and ultimately become a burden to those operating them. With a rash of unfortunate accidents from old folding partitions used in gymnasiums, a big part of what we do is work to get them removed and replaced with a more reliable and updated system. https://hubs.li/Q02Vt5Cl0

As part of the development of the athletic program, Vaso’s field was constructed in 2018 to serve as home to the Ridgebacks. The field features FIFA-approved artificial turf, new MUSCO LED lighting, and includes change rooms and a press box to serve the women's field lacrosse, and the men's and women's soccer programs. To accommodate the successful athletics programming, the school was looking to install an impressive bleacher seating structure at the field. Hoping to accommodate up to 700 spectators, the school invited our team out to have a walk along the field and measure the available footprint for a prospective bleacher that would satisfy the school’s needs. https://hubs.li/Q02V3Jxw0
