Intention is one of the most important aspects in training. The most effective resistance training protocols are only as effective as how the individual executes it. Using a rate of perceived exertion (RPE) scale to better understand how you are tackling and responding to each set. For progressive overload, we do not always have to increase load each week, we can also focus on increasing reps and improving execution.
