We’re excited to share that we successfully launched TAIBU’s Black Health Challenge last Thursday, a powerful initiative to promote health and wellness within the Black community! Thank you to our fantastic partner, Manulife, for making this event more impactful. We’re grateful to Helena Shimeles for joining us and speaking with our members about the strength of this partnership. We also extend heartfelt thanks to Joanna Marcovici for her incredible support in helping create this collaboration. Together, we’re making bold strides toward health equity, access to care, and a brighter, healthier future. The Black Health Challenge (BHC) was developed and implemented in 2010. It is a 12-week lifestyle intervention program with two main parts: Education/Information and Physical Activity sessions. The Black Health Challenge encourages a lifestyle intervention to help members of the Black community lead healthier, happier lives by increasing their nutrition knowledge and engaging in creative physical activity.
