Today, our CEO, Mario Grossi, had the pleasure of speaking on the "Natural Resources - Mining" panel at the 2024 Anishinabek Nation Economic Development Opportunities Forum. He was joined by Josh Duval and Lilli Doughty, BBA who represent the Economic Development Corporations of Atikameksheng Anishnawbek and Wahnapitae First Nation. Together, they discussed the creation and success of Aki-eh Dibinwewziwin Limited Partnership (ADLP). Mario reflected on the invaluable lessons gained from this journey and emphasized the importance of building authentic, meaningful partnerships with First Nation Communities. We are thrilled for our ADLP Partners, Atikameksheng Anishnawbek and Wahnapitae First Nation, whose respective economic development corporations, Giyak Mishkawzid Shkagmikwe Inc. (GMS) and Taighwenini Technical Services Corporation (TTS) were provided with $2.8M in funding from Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) to purchase two Surface Production Drills. These drills, which will soon be turning at Stobie Pit, will provide the communities with an opportunity to actively participate in the mining activity occurring on their traditional territories.

Our COO, Jim Lundrigan, presented today at the CIM | Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum Health & Safety Conference in Toronto alongside Gus Minor from Sofvie Inc. and Stephen de Groot from Brivia, discussing how to create a workplace that people are proud to be a part of. As school starts back up this week, we wanted to take a moment to thank our summer students for their dedication and hard work over the last few months. Last week we had the opportunity to thank them with a Student Appreciation Barbecue. Over the last 3 months, our team has successfully completed a series of maintenance shutdowns at various mine sites. Their dedication and commitment to delivering world class service ensured work was completed efficiently, on schedule and, most importantly, with safety as the top priority. 👏 Congrats to the team on a successful shutdown season with 24,000 hours worked and zero harm!
