On May 20, 2025, my esteemed CBI Health colleagues Colin Chan and Adam Broad will be presenting an upcoming webinar called Supporting the Occupational Participation of Frontline Workers Following Workplace Trauma. The Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT) graciously invited OTs from our Community Rehabilitation Services unit to share how occupational therapists can play a very meaningful part in supporting workers with psychological stress injuries in reclaiming occupational function - such as returning to work and to other desired and needed pursuits. Our OT colleagues at CBI Health across Canada do so much good work in this area!

Hey fellow OTs! I know that you are a modest bunch, but this is a nice opportunity to share our stories and help build the awareness of the impact of occupational therapy in the lives of so many people. My head is flooded with images of the things that the OTs at Modern OT Occupational Therapy Services have done over the years, up to and including this week, and of things that are coming in the future! I hope that The Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT) is flooded with input! Speak up, OTs! We've been a quiet presence in the health care field for a long time, and we deserve to shine!
