We are so excited to participate in the Commuter Challenge 2024 during Environment Week here in Canada! 🍃🚴 Our team is ready to take on this challenge and they are excited about getting started (or already starting) for many team members! Members of our team will do their best to make green decisions in the coming week like taking transit, walking or biking to work! Today some of our team members once again had the privledge to donate their time at Brown Bagging for Calgary's Kids! Today these amazing people were able to help support this cause. Did you know that 1 in 4 kids in school have food vulnerability and are supported by this program here in Calgary? Since our last volunteer day, they have increased the number of kids they are supporting by 1000 and they help to feed 7500 kids per day!! It doesn’t stop when school breaks for summer as they are now supporting day camps through the YMCA and City of Calgary and you can bet our The Westley Hotel Calgary Downtown, Tapestry Collection by Hilton team will be signing up to support a summer camp day as well!

Such an exciting event to host clients both new and old and introduce them to our property! Thank you all to those who came out to our Spring Fling!

We are thrilled to share that our amazing colleague team at The Westley Hotel Calgary Downtown, Tapestry Collection by Hilton had the opportunity to volunteer this morning at Brown Bagging for Calgary's Kids an organization dedicated to making school lunches for children in need. It was truly heartwarming to see our team come together and make a positive impact in the lives of these young individuals. By lending a helping hand, we were able to ensure that these children have access to nutritious meals, giving them the energy and nourishment they need to thrive in school. 💪🍎 Volunteering at Brown Bags for Kids was an eye-opening experience for all of us. It reminded us of the importance of giving back to our community and the power of collective action. Got to spend the day elfing around with an incredible group of people! Today we participated with our Hilton Calgary family in donating 100 toys to the Alberta Children's Hospital Foundation! Thank you to Carol Lyle and the support of our Hilton Calgary Hotels to coordinate and make this happen.
