#DCProud to provide academic support to our amazing DC faculties and professors.
About us
The Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL) inspires creativity, ensures quality, and fosters a scholarly approach to academic programming and innovative delivery to promote faculty and student success. The CTL provides leadership and support to the college from the initial phases of program ideation and development to its delivery in the classroom. We offer expertise and support to faculty and administrators as they develop, review and modify their programs to ensure currency and relevancy, as well as provide teaching and learning support to faculty. Our goal is to foster collaborative relationships to empower faculty and administrators to deliver current programs that produce graduates with the knowledge and skills for their chosen profession. The CTL champions active learning strategies and the introduction of new educational technologies, promoting an ongoing, campus-wide dialogue about their impact on student learning and engagement. The CTL offers access to highly qualified staff, a variety of computer and multimedia equipment as well as one-on-one training sessions. Whether you are a novice or seasoned faculty, we're sure that you'll find something on this site to assist you in your teaching challenges. Please don't hesitate to contact us. We'd love to hear about your success stories and your challenges! Happy teachings!
