I am thrilled to announce that my co-founder, Justin Allen, and I have won the DMZ Basecamp pitch competition for our startup, GlucoSense, and secured the $20,000 first-place prize! The past 8 weeks in the Basecamp Voyage program have been transformative. This program provided us with expert 1:1 mentoring, customized coaching in areas like marketing and product development, and the opportunity to connect with entrepreneurial minds across Toronto Metropolitan University zones and the broader DMZ global network. A huge thank you to our mentors, Anthony Lau, Ashu Syal, Pouria Daliri and Luka Lamaj for all your advice, encouragement, and support. A big shoutout to the Innovation Boost Zone team for believing in me from the start.
