📣 Funding Announcement 📣 The Town has been awarded federal funding to support improvements along the Whitby waterfront, a top community priority. ✔️ $200,000 to support the revitalization project around the Rowe House. The project will feature: 🔹 New space for outdoor water sports; 🔹 Recreation and placemaking areas overlooking the harbour; 🔹 A rest stop for cyclists; 🔹 Public art, and; 🔹 A new visitor information hub. These key upgrades will attract local, out-of-region, year-round visitors, which will support local tourism and contribute to making Whitby an exceptional place to live, work and explore.
