    Collecting and harnessing customer intelligence is only the beginning of a clienteling strategy — the ways that retailers act on that information is what truly separates winners from losers in today’s competitive market. The 80-20 rule of retail states that typically approximately 80% of revenue comes from 20% of customers. That means that the most effective clienteling programs are the ones that are focused and relevant to the customer, ideally providing that 1:1 personalization to that 20%.     What a day! Last week, (almost) the entire Tulip team came together for our annual company-wide summer event. This year we gave the event a bit of a different twist... Our Tulipians picked up their magnifying glasses and did their best Sherlock Holmes impressions as we attended Tulip District 🔍. A highly anticipated reunion with detective hats & sleuthing skills! We hosted our event in the historic & iconic Distillery District in downtown Toronto at the beautiful Archeo venue. We had Tulipians from all around the world join us for our fun-filled day! Some of the highlights included inspiring words from our CEO, a Discovering the Distillery Team-Building Challenge hosted by Conundrum Adventures Corporate Team Building, delicious food, corn hole, Tulip swag, cobblestone streets, ice cream sandwiches, free time, and lotsssss of magnifying glasses. Our time together was nothing short of amazing and we are so grateful for the opportunity to recharge, connect, and enjoy each other's company in-person! As a fully remote company, there is nothing more special than having time like this to just be together. There were some incredible memories made and bonds that were strengthened at Tulip District. A massive THANK YOU to everyone who participated, shared their insights, and contributed to making this event a huge success. We can't wait to see what next year has in store! Here's to Tulip District 2024! 🌷
