It was quite the day at the Canadian Auto Care Industry Conference. I quickly recap it below but you can go here to read more about what heard and learned: https://lnkd.in/g2p2ftTG. After an industry and association update, we heard Jean-Francois Champagne, CAE announce that the search is underway for a successor to his position. We got insights on how immigration is needed to fill talent gaps across Canada and how the aftermarket can effectively use it. Industry trends from tariffs to industry consolidation were discussed during a panel. Then we got two forward-looking presentations — one about vehicle technology trends and aftermarket impacts; the second looked at the upcoming federal election and how things have changed so quickly in a short amount of time. We had concurrent sessions looking at consumer trends as technology in vehicles accelerates, how to not let work overtake your life and empowering women in the automotive aftermarket. Hit the link (here it is again: https://lnkd.in/g2p2ftTG) for more details from the day! #autocare #automotiveaftermarket #automotive Turnkey Media Solutions Automotive Industries Association of Canada

Tune in to hear what leaders from four automakers had to say about the state of the automotive industry: https://lnkd.in/g_eq4CbF I chatted with execs from Ford, Volvo, Stellantis and Kia at the 2025 Canadian International AutoShow in Toronto last month. You can hear about their thoughts on new vehicle trends — from sales to supply — electric vehicles, political challenges, consumer demands and more. I tried to get them to talk more about auto care issues, such as working with the aftermarket and right to repair but they either declined or said they were not the right person to speak with about that. But tune in — and let me know what you think of their assessment of the industry! #autocare #automotiveaftermarket #automotive Turnkey Media Solutions
