Valo Networks provides network operations and management services to telecommunications and broadband network owners and operators. We do this via our North American-based, 24/7, service center, staffed with service desk and network engineering experts providing Tier 1-4 network operations. We monitor your network using your SOP and Management Tools, proactively identify and fix issues, respond to alarms, manage tickets and resolve as needed in coordination with your outside plant resources. Our staff are certified and trained with the industry vendors you know and trust such as Cisco, Nokia, Ciena, MRV, Juniper, HDI and ITIL 4 Axelos. By centralizing these skills and people, our customers are able to supplement their own network staff and operations activity or use Valo's services exclusively. In doing this, they can offer service desk and network monitoring 24/7 which provides for higher network availability and customer experience outcomes. Valo's customers are spending less and providing higher performing networks and service levels. Valo provides services for last mile, middle mile and carrier networks.

*Broadband Industry Question* What is the best way to prove that a Customer is getting the Speed they purchased? 🤔 Last week, while onsite visiting a customer, I witnessed a trouble call that left me baffled. The BSP’s end subscriber purchased the 2G Speed package for his residence and was stating that every time he did a speed test (from his computer), it didn’t show the speed he purchased. The technician tried to explain to him that the devices he was using aren’t capable of 2G but of course, the customer argued and ultimately ended up cancelling the service. Showing the speed test on the router, wasn’t enough, he wanted to see it from his computer which didn’t have the capability to support 2G. *Frustrating to say the least* 😡 Its easy to do a speed test with a modern laptop for 1G but what about 5G, 10G? As speeds increase, what is the best (and most economical) way, to prove that the end subscriber is getting what they pay for? I would love some insight on this so we can pass it along to our clients. Are there inexpensive “Test Devices”? If so, do all techs need one or do they share? What other innovative ways have you seen BSP’s facilitate this? Someone will always think they need more speed and someone will always be willing to buy it, now we need to figure out how to fully deliver it and backup the service offering when needed. Thoughts? Ideas? ❓ ❓
