We helped reorganize its supply chain around a renewed strategy, created a cross-functional team for global collaboration, and implemented processes for strategic sourcing-to-delivery and quality compliance. Costs were reduced by 40% and lead time by 10%. ❖ One of Canada’s largest Supply Chain (3PL) Service providers was missing growth opportunities in e-commerce business. We delivered an Innovation Platform for e-commerce, selected, and deployed collaborative robots for its US distribution center, and facilitating change across the operation. ❖ Developed a supply chain transformation project for a major Wind Turbine OEM Service Provider, to help senior leadership define a vision with an implementation plan for the organization’s procurement, material management, logistics, and maintenance projects.

𝐂𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐲: 𝐊𝐏𝐈 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 & 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐱𝐭: ● The organization was on a journey to integrate data into its decision-making processes and needed to identify the most appropriate set of measures and KPIs to enhance its business performance cascading to the functional level. ● The goal was to produce reports that clearly illustrated operational health and growth potential, enabling informed decisions and facilitating lessons learned sessions. 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐬: ● Current reports had evolved over time and had lost their original purpose. They raised more questions than answers. ● There were too many KPIs, and it was unclear which ones were critical as leading or lagging indicators of business performance. ● Due to unclear definitions, reference points, and data quality issues, KPIs from diverse reports painted a disparate image of the information presented. On the other hand, a 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 embodies proactive leadership, driving transformative actions, strategic planning, and change within the organization. They navigate challenges with agility and focus, catalyzing initiatives and guiding teams toward specific goals. Organizations require both types of leadership. As organizations evolve, so do their needs and challenges, necessitating a balance between Figurehead and Spearhead qualities. There's significant value in developing leaders with a blend of both capabilities.
