We’re making some changes at VIB Due to rising costs including a 35% rent increase we’ve signed a co-pack agreement to have our popular lineup of craft beer brewed and packaged by our friends at Phillips Brewing, effective November 1st. There is no change in the ownership structure for VIB or Phillips. Our valued beer drinkers will not notice any change. By outsourcing our production VIB is ensuring our much-loved portfolio of high-quality, all-natural beers, including Islander Lager, Mystic Haze, and Broken Islands Hazy IPA will continue to be locally made and available. It was important for us to find a craft brewery whose operators also have deep, local roots and whose commitment to excellence and quality matches our own, Phillips Brewing is a recognized and respected leader in the Vancouver Island and B.C. craft beer sector. Their operations team consistently maintain high-quality standards, and we look forward to ensuring a seamless transition of our production in the coming months. Give purpose to your purchase this Black Friday🌊 We're proud to announce that we've partnered once again with Blue Friday. 50% of every purchase made through our online store on November 24th will be donated directly to Blue Friday to support ocean conservation. Blue Friday disrupts the norm and changes the conversation around Black Friday shopping by giving people the ability to both shop and make a positive impact. This year our goal is to clean up 10,000 lbs of ocean waste. For every $20 donated, 5lbs of ocean waste will be removed from the Pacific Ocean.
