Meet Dr. Joban Bal, MD—a member of our South Asian Advisory Group, and a passionate community leader, healthcare innovator, and changemaker dedicated to building a better future. As Founder and President of the One Blood For Life Foundation, Joban has mobilized hundreds of volunteers across BC, collectively recruiting thousands of blood and stem cell donors. He deeply believes in the power of sport, teamwork, and giving back—values he has seen the Whitecaps embody through their commitment to uplifting and uniting communities. A proud participant in the 2023 Whitecaps Bloodlines jersey release and multiple philanthropic campaigns, Joban was recently recognized as one of BCBusiness's 30 Under 30! We’re grateful to have him as a member of our South Asian Advisory Group—helping to drive meaningful change on and off the pitch.
