Thank you for celebrating this milestone with us!
Let's celebrate 60 years of the #WATERAX MARK-3® pump! In this picture, you can see our proud #engineering team who played a key role in the development of the #controller and user interface module for the MARK-3® Watson Edition high-pressure fire pump. Learn more about our contribution in the article: "Increased Reliability and Usability through the Introduction of a User Interface Module for Hand-Held Small Engines." This article details how we enhanced the MARK-3® portable pump, used by wildland #firefighters as a portable, backpack-carried 2-stroke engine, with an additional user interface to reduce user demands and provide immediate feedback in case of a failure. This allows for swift action without extensive troubleshooting. DOI of the paper: https://lnkd.in/eMvRJGaw The requirements for a WATERAX pump are immense—portable enough to be carried by firefighters, yet rugged enough to withstand extreme conditions like moisture, elevation and high temperatures. We’re thrilled that WATERAX is celebrating the 60th anniversary of the MARK-3® pump and proud to be part of this enduring #legacy!
