This week, Wawanesa is introducing a fresh new look and tagline for our brand identity. It’s all part of our commitment to strengthening our brand in a changing industry. Our new tagline is “Just say the word” – a sentiment consistent with our purpose as a mutual insurer to be there for our members and communities in times of need.

Today, we observe National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. We honour the children who never returned home, the residential school survivors, their loved ones and their communities. As a Canadian company operating on the homelands of Indigenous Peoples, we recognize the importance of our responsibilities toward reconciliation. In 2022, Wawanesa made the decision to close our offices across Canada on September 30 as an act of reconciliation and to honour the intent of the day. We provide our employees with this day to learn, reflect, and remember as part of our reconciliation journey. #NDTR #EveryChildMatters
