Take more control of your crypto trades. Easily convert one eligible cryptocurrency for the equivalent value of another in a single trade (a swap) instead of two (sell then buy). Swapping crypto saves you coin, slicing trading fees by 50% so you keep more of your money where you want it: in your wallet.

My latest client newsletter (https://lnkd.in/exqAdphf) came out last week. Here’s the gist: ⚠️ Narrowing outcomes is not as simple as trading stocks for bonds. With a long time horizon, adding less-volatile assets drastically lowers your likely upside in exchange for minimally raising your likely downside — and only temporarily. Over time the higher expected returns of most reasonably diversified risky portfolios eventually win out. ⚔️ For many long term investors, the goal can be to achieve high (stock-market-like) returns but with less variation in long-term outcomes. This can be hard to do, but adding diversifying assets like defensive stocks, which have similar expected returns but also perform well at different times, maintains expected returns while improving downside. This is also the appeal of some diversifying alternatives, like infrastructure or private credit. ⚖️ It’s important to think probabilistically when investing: when market returns are good, the upside takes care of itself. But when returns are bad, a little bit of outperformance can have a big impact on your life. The chart below shows the impact on incomes of a $1M portfolio compounded over 20 years. Knowing that you don’t know the outcome in advance, which one do you prefer?

A decade ago, our goal to become Canada’s largest financial institution seemed ambitious. Now, that vision is within reach. More from our CEO Michael Katchen at the link: https://lnkd.in/ebBYN399

If you wish you’d learned about finance in school, or just wish you’d paid more attention, you’re in luck. The Wealthsimple Foundation has put together a Money Master Class — a go-to resource for young people who want to learn more about money mindsets, budgeting, credit cards and more. Featuring a special appearance from our very own, very interesting, CTO, Diederik van Liere, who agreed to act boring this one time only. [Link to full playlist] https://lnkd.in/gPqrHHaB
