News 🚨 Westward Gold Provides Preliminary Gravity Interpretations at Toiyabe Hills Full press release here: https://lnkd.in/gnJ-9m-k YouTube Video Summary: https://lnkd.in/g2hBsF_d The gravity interpretation confirms prospective lower-plate carbonate rocks lie at drillable depths over ~70% of our Toiyabe Hills property. This is critical as the lower plate rocks, preserved beneath upper plate cover, are where the multi-million ounce carlin gold deposits are situated in Nevada. Interpretations of the residual gravity and horizontal gradient provide a structural framework for the Toiyabe district. This type of structural framework is representative of stress regimes documented in northern Nevada and is very similar to published gravity data associated with multi-million ounce gold deposits on the Cortez and Carlin Trends. Geological mapping, completed by Carlin mine-finder Steven Koehler, identified northeast striking dike-filled fault corridors across the Property. These dike filled corridors correlate with district northeast striking gravity gradients. This correlation is significant as dike filled fault corridors are a key feature associated with many Carlin type gold deposits.   A new circular / domal feature, approximately 2km in diameter was identified by the gravity. Initial interpretations indicated this is an area of hydrothermal alteration developed in favorable lower-plate carbonate rocks. An IP survey completed in 2021 extends a line across this alteration feature. Two areas of very low resistivity are revealed by the IP line, both correlating with the circular feature. These responses are interpreted as strong hydrothermal alteration such as decalcification, which is exactly what you want to see for Carlin gold deposition. The gravity survey results have prompted the company to re-evaluate all legacy geophysical surveys on the Toiyabe Hills Property for further analysis and target definition.

As foundational data comes back from our summer field programs (gravity, soils, rocks, mapping) we will be finalizing these "big-company" targets. Our competitive advantage, pointed out by a fund manager, in this saturated junior mining market is our technical team, who he's backed before and made money with, who have had major discovery success in Nevada and are looking to repeat it at Toiyabe Hills. The primary goal of the programs – designed by Westward’s technical team with a history of significant #Carlin-type #gold #discoveries to their credit – is to define new high-priority #drill #targets on the Company’s 55-square kilometer property. Spent the day out at site with Rob Edie Vice President of Exploration at Westward Gold Inc.'s Toiyabe Hills land package, south of Nevada Gold Mines Cortez Complex, and I'm simply blown away. What we've built here is a company making district scale land package in the heart of gold country. Don't take my word for it, ask our team of Carlin experts or any Nevada geo who's evaluated our ground. We have the geological characteristics of what is associated with large Carlin gold systems (Wenban Sub Unit 5, Gold in Upper Plate (rare) and lower plate, large hydrothermal alteration footprint, deep oxidation in drill holes, Roberts Mountain Thrust, Compressional tectonics/Anticlines for traps, Instrusives, Igneous Dike filled fault corridors, Carlin Pathfinders Antimony/Mercury/Arsenic, the list goes on and on). As we gather more data the story simply becomes more compelling. Today we mapped and collected samples (to be assayed) on our newly staked claims and the southern tip of our East Saddle area. We're defining new priority drill targets by combining compelling data sets (geochem, geophysics, and significantly improved mapping) for future drilling. So what am I doing about this? I've bought in the open market another 800,000+ #WG shares since our last financing, now pushing my position to 6.3M+ shares. I'm putting my money where my mouth is.
