Great theming stirs the imagination and makes aquatic play more fun… but not when the theming elements get battered through harsh UV, extreme temperature changes, and years of wear and tear. Our team not only has the expertise to refurbish slides and play structures, they also have the artistry to bring theming elements back to high-gloss factory finish—not just repainted. Take a look at the great work led by our Team Development Specialist, Construction Supervision, Ray Sagasky. WhiteWater is the leading global designer and manufacturer of water park products and active family attractions.
About us
WhiteWater leads the attractions industry because we live by some clear principles; we hold the highest standards of safety, sustainability, and entertainment value in all we do. The result has helped us grow from operating our own water park in 1980 to supplying the world’s leading entertainment and hospitality brands with products and services they can count on, because we understand the importance of lasting quality and reliability on the bottom line. We also appreciate the value of being local—our six regional offices mean we are available in your time zone and understand your local culture, which allows us to provide the advice and quality of service that our reputation for excellence is based upon. It is these strong and trusting relationships with employees, suppliers, and customers alike that create the strength of our brand. We believe that integrity in business means creating a transparent relationship amongst all parties and delivering on our promises. We’ve learned a lot about what makes a venue successful over the last 40+ years with over 6,000 aquatic entertainment projects completed around the world. We don’t begin by designing a venue, we start by thinking about what guests come to experience. That is what delivers a solid ROI. We know that there is more to the science of entertainment just excellent engineering; we understand the value of emotion and that is where the magic lies. We innovate relentlessly to meet your guests’ ever evolving expectations because we are as invested in their safety, engagement, and overall satisfaction as you are. At WhiteWater, we don’t just sell attractions; we partner with our customers to deliver world-class experiences not found anywhere else. We’re here to create places where fun thrives.

As this is spooky season, and we find hyperbole pretty scary (how do you even pronounce it!?!), get ready for WhiteWater’s most terrifying and spooktacular post of the year… The force is strong with this rag tag group of costume-clad office denizens and their human owners. To celebrate the day, everyone from Jedis to forlorn elves joined the photo shoot to strike their best ghoulish poses and get out of work for 10 minutes. Worth it. #halloween2024 #officefun

How do you balance high thrill with family appeal? Recent projects at two of America’s premier water parks show creative approaches. In Wisconsin, Mt. Olympus Water & Theme Park not only opened America’s tallest water slide tower at 165 feet, they also unveiled a beautiful kids’ area to match. While the 5 slides on “The Rise of Icarus” serve the daredevils, the “Icaria Splash ‘n Slide” play area with 8 gentle slides, AquaSplash Toys, and Life Floor is where the action is at for young families. In Texas at Schlitterbahn New Braunfels, home of the world’s first Master Blaster—the iconic water coaster—opened the world’s first Mini Blaster. A pint-sized version of the popular original, “Bow Wow Blaster” creates a natural progression for tomorrow’s thrill-seekers. Read about their backstories and design processes in this InPark Magazine article by Joe Kleiman (8 min.): https://lnkd.in/gFNAJSV7 With insights from Fotini Backhaus, Maria Laskaris, Christopher Ozimek, Doug Smith 📷 credits: Mt. Last week, 9 WhiteWater members attended the twice-annual ASTM F24 meeting to discuss standards related to testing, performance, maintenance, and operations for amusement rides and devices, with industry friends learning from one another. These parameters all affect safety, and WhiteWater continues to be very actively involved, holding 4 leadership positions in the subcommittees and sponsoring the meetings since 2014. Congratulations to our Geoff Chutter on his induction into the IAAPA Hall of Fame! To be considered, “individuals must make significant contributions to at least two or more regions across the globe, excelling in areas such as education, innovation, leadership, and industry influence that will continue to shape the future.” Since founding WhiteWater in 1980, Geoff has been very influential across the attractions industry, covering the water park, theme park, resort, and surf spaces worldwide. Not stopping there, he will be lending his wealth of knowledge and business expertise to serve on the 2025 IAAPA Board of Directors. Hear from Geoff as he expresses his gratitude. #IAAPAHallofFame #AttractionsIndustry #LifetimeService

How in the world is a Boeing 747 launching water slides? You’d have to see it to believe it at Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum in Oregon. The story began with the project owner’s creative idea to allow the museum’s Wings and Waves Waterpark guests to experience the Queen of the Skies like never before. First, a retired yet fully functional jet was flown in. The length of the landing strip made it a one-way trip. The utilities company even had to lift the power lines to allow the jet to pass through. What happened next? The story continues in our #CreativityCollective: https://lnkd.in/gPk2hHnU #waterparks #waterslides #jumbojet #evergreen
