A few weeks ago, we had the thrill of premiering an incredible new short film by the Water Brothers at Tawich in the City! We couldn't wait to share it with everyone because it’s just too good not to! Earlier this year, Parks Canada and Mushkegowuk Council made strides to protect the rich offshore marine environment of western James Bay and southwestern Hudson Bay representing 85% of the incredible marine conservation vision of the Omushkego people. However, federal jurisdiction does not extend to the coast and it would be a huge gap if left unprotected. We need the Ontario government to commit to safeguarding this vital ~1300 km coastline, home to millions of birds and diverse wildlife. ❌ Don’t leave these areas open for mining.
