On February 1, 2024, XCG became a division of Trace Associates Inc. Read on for more about our history and capabilities. XCG was founded in 1990 and employed professionals in 3 offices across Canada. XCG has established itself as a solutions driven company for business in the environmental industry. Built on a solid foundation of senior engineering and science professionals, XCG offers clients from across a wide range of industry sectors, a comprehensive range of environmental consulting services. XCG is committed to providing senior level expertise and ensures that qualified experts have a hands-on-role in projects from start to finish. Here are some words from Kristian Peter: “Since joining XCG in 2007, I’ve had a chance to be involved in many exciting projects and helping our clients achieve their goals in site redevelopment under the latest Brownfield regulations. Having the chance to see projects progress from the very beginning to the finished development has been incredibly rewarding. One project in particular, the Metalworks site in Guelph, has been especially satisfying. From completing the initial site walkthrough of the original industrial building, to coordinating and managing the investigations and remediation necessary to obtain the Record of Site Condition, to assisting the developer in meeting all of the requirements for the site build-out, this project has covered nearly every facet of our company services. Seeing an old industrial property re-imagined into a vibrant residential setting is helping to re-vitalize this area of Guelph. Took the Mavic3E with me to check in on the XCG Consulting Limited waste audit going on at the Mohawk Street Landfill in Brantford. Had fun in the cold and a bit of snow getting some pictures of Michelle Grant and Ben Arbon hard at work. Of course I got in the picture with them just to prove I do go out in the cold and do site visits!!!
