Thank you to the group of amazing Women at Bell group who donated school supplies for YSB’s Youth Drop-In classroom. YSB works in partnership with young people as individuals, to understand what they need to ensure they feel seen, heard, and supported. As part of our shelters and housing program, YSB operates a downtown Youth Drop-In, open 365 days a year. Along with providing street-involved youth with staff support and guidance, the Youth Drop-In offers healthy meals, shower and laundry facilities, laundry, access to clothing, support and counselling. We also have an onsite classroom for youth to gain high school credits they may be missing in order to graduate. The kindness and generosity of a donation of backpacks and school supplies for YSB’s Youth Drop-In classroom students ensures that these youth are well-prepared with the tools they need to succeed and feel confident as they work towards their high school education.
