Ever get asked to share something surprising about yourself? Mine is that I was a die-hard musical theater kid. (Yes, I was the one belting out "Hi-Lili, Hi-Lo" in department stores!) 🎶 Fast forward to a few years ago: my own kids weren't showing much musical aptitude. Like any good parent, in an attempt to force my passions onto my kids, we joined the Youth Singers of Calgary. What I expected was a simple choir. What we got was so much more. Youth Singers isn't just about singing. It's a vibrant community that nurtures inclusivity and builds confidence in young people aged 3 and up. Watching my kids' first concert – offbeat dancing, out-of-tune singing, and ear-to-ear grins – was a pure, unforgettable moment. Two years later, music fills our home and car, and they eagerly anticipate every rehearsal and performance. Now, I'm reaching out to you, my LinkedIn crew, for support.
