Wondering what participants using the Zamplo app are saying? Dr. Pedro Miranda conducted a clinical research study called TRACK-IBD that used Zamplo for real-time tracking of dietary intake, physical activity, sleep, and symptoms of patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease. From this study, some feedback that participants provided about Zamplo was that it was “easy to understand” and “not time-consuming.” Dr. Miranda stated that Zamplo was chosen for the TRACK-IBD Study because “we can actually get a real-time symptom tracking tool via Zamplo” where patients “can track if they’re having symptoms in real-time and is time-stamped." The resources uploaded in the Health Library can be shared with everyone, groups, or selected individuals participating in a project. Dr. Pedro Miranda and Shaneel Pathak recently presented on “Advancing Digital Health: Demonstrating Zamplo’s Impact on Clinical Research and Patient Care.” In the presentation, the two discussed innovative methods for using digital health tools in clinical research.     Dr. Miranda stated that Zamplo was chosen for the TRACK-IBD Study because “we can actually get a real-time symptom tracking tool via Zamplo” where patients “can track if they’re having symptoms in real-time and is time-stamped." Other reasons they chose Zamplo for the project include survey customization, using push notifications and reminders, the ability for patients to answer surveys through their phones, and having a strong database for medications.
