Summary

Precision Drilling is seeking an experienced Loader Operator to join our team in supporting its loader operations. This is a full-time position based out of Rostel Industries, Calgary, Alberta.

Responsibilities

  • Operation of wheel loader & oversized forklift
  • Perform various loader operations
  • Daily maintenance checks of the loader
  • Loading and unloading of trucks and equipment
  • Facilitate the movement of materials between various locations
  • Assist in the facilitation of Precision’s safety programs
  • Movement and coordination of equipment within the yard and into the facility
  • Assist co-workers and supervisors with material organization
  • Other general yard tasks and duties as required
  • Requirement to work overtime as needed and be available after hours/on-call to support load-outs
  • Familiarization with internal/external company documentation
  • Must be willing to work in and participate in a safety-conscious environment
  • Must be motivated and have excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Candidate must have a positive attitude with the ability to work & communicate well with others and on their own
  • Must be a self-starter, able to meet performance targets of the department and in accordance with company values and objectives

Attentive to details

Ability to work to tight timelines and schedules on multiple projects

Education

Minimum High School Diploma

Experience

2-3 years experience operating medium to large-sized wheel loaders (e.g., Hyundai HL970, Cat 966, Doosan, etc.)

Loader operator ticket or certification

Forklift Certificate And Experience Required

Winch truck/bed truck experience is an asset
