Meet Ruth Knox, PhD, an Engagement Manager in our Montreal office. "Coming from a scientific background with a PhD in chemistry, when I first came across the possibility of transitioning to management consulting, working at McKinsey was both an intimidating and exciting prospect. I joined the firm to enhance my understanding of the business world and broaden my perspectives, and in the process, I’ve not only learned a tremendous amount about business and management but have also levelled up my leadership and coaching abilities. I am consistently energized by working with bright, capable people from a number of diverse backgrounds. It’s an immense pleasure to work with high-performing people on challenging problems, regardless of the subject matter. Outside of work, I typically spend lots of time with my wife doing DIY projects or playing tennis. We are very rarely apart—here’s a photo of us on recent family vacations with our pup Cocoa."
