As we close out 2024 and gear up for 2025, I reflect on the defining moments of 14Peaks Capital’s journey this year: 🤝 We successfully closed our first $30M fund with a incredible and supportive LP group 🚀 We backed new remarkable founders and their teams: Model ML, Skillvue, Zefi.ai, Zenlytic, (+ 3 more to be disclosed) 💪 We continued to support our portfolio companies through various challenges and successes, with many securing further funding to grow (to be announced in Q1-25) 🇺🇸 🌴 We expanded and strengthened our team opening a US office in Miami, which brings us closer to our US based portfolio founders and partners. Looking ahead to 2025, here’s a few of the themes I anticipate will shape 2025: 🐂 A Friendlier Market Environment: Capital will be more accessible, especially in private markets, leading to increased competition among investors. Execution speed and a unique value proposition will be crucial. 🤖 AI Consolidation and Implementation: With years of testing, organizations are now ready to fully integrate AI across departments. I expect to see well-defined budgets and purchasing processes. 🚄 Go-to-Market Driven Moats: Vertical Software will continue to dominate. As diversification through products becomes more challenging, speed to market will determine the leaders. 👨💻 Rise of Software-Enabled Services: Traditional service providers are increasingly becoming "tech-enabled," offering a combination of work and software solutions. I'm excited about what the new year holds and truly thankful for the ongoing support from our partners, investors, and founders, whose collaboration makes our journey possible.
