While we initially imagined using an off-the-shelf powerplant for the HT-100, we soon realised this approach wasn't going to be enough for the operational targets we'd set for ourselves. Primarily, the time between overhauls for available units was far from enough to allow effective and efficient operations for our customers - some of whom were looking to fly up to 300 flight hours per month in intensive operations. Welcome the PT-15B, our custom-designed, developed and Swiss-manufactured turbine engine. Offering 15kW of mechanical, 1kW of electrical, while burning only 9 litres of JET A-1 fuel per hour with 1,000 flight hours between overhauls! A lot of struggles, expenses and a longer route to market, but more than worth it!
