SPRING/SUMMER 2025 FASHION SHOW Milan, Italy. “Counterpoint 3” Discover the key looks from the fashion show with cocooning, ruffled, rounded and draped silhouettes referencing the poetic history that served as inspiration. Light summer tailoring and leather pieces accent the collection, alongside pops of bright technical outerwear. Building on the strong foundations of Swiss craftsmanship and style, new Glendales and lace-up Scribes are elevated with heels, and platform T-strap sandals are edged in fine metalwork. Brogued derbies and cut-out Mary Jane brogues are studded with bright saddlery studs, and sandals are framed in punk spikes. The Beckett satchel appears oversized in glossy leathers, as trapeze and bell-shaped doctor’s bags pop in the season’s alpine floral palette with topstitched details. Engraved belt buckles and handbag straps are playful details to take note of for the season. #Bally

As floods and natural disasters hit Nepal and other countries this summer, in this episode of the On Thin Ice podcast we ask: can AI help us mitigate the risks brought by climate change?   Host Paolo Bosonin speaks with Laura Kottlowski, professional ice skater and content creator, and Tenzing Chogyal Sherpa, glaciologist at ICIMOD.   Laura Kottlowski shares her insights from years of studying frozen lakes worldwide. She explains how her discipline has to adapt to the loss of ice, as many natural ice rinks are quickly disappearing.   Tenzing Chogyal Sherpa, who has been closely watching the evolution of glaciers around Mount Everest and other parts of the Himalayas, breaks down some of the dangers faced by local populations due to melting glaciers and the risk of lake outbursting.   But Tenzing, Laura and other scientists say artificial intelligence and machine learning can scale up their ability to process satellite images and other data, allowing for a better understanding of the consequences of higher temperatures on our world’s ice – and on the communities whose lives depend on it.   Listen to On Thin Ice Episode 6 on Apple Podcasts (https://lnkd.in/dV-sR_S9), Spotify (https://lnkd.in/dqXr2QeQ) and YouTube (https://lnkd.in/du-XDzGK) produced in partnership with the Bally Peak Outlook Foundation, which is on a mission to safeguard the world's fragile mountain habitats from the adverse effects of global warming and excessive tourism. #Bally #BallyPeakOutlook

As we report the fifth year of our Sustainability Roadmap, what started as a pledge of accountability and change in 2019, has evolved alongside the world at large to become an action-based manifesto of our core values. Our latest report outlines the progress that has been made to date, as well as highlighting the goals we're working towards for a better future for all. Significant improvements have been made in 2023; not only have the SBTi (Science Based Targets initiative) approved and validated our emissions reduction targets, but more than 91% of Bally’s energy consumption in Headquarters – Caslano, Milan and Florence – and offices worldwide came from renewable sources, showing an 18% improvement in one year. We have also reduced our plastic usage in packaging by 1.7 tons and achieved 53% of purchased materials coming from more sustainable sources. We have been paying close attention to our people, too, and launched an anonymous Employee Satisfaction Survey to better understand how our employees feel about their work lives.
