As part of AmCham Serbia "ESG Champions" series, we had the pleasure of hosting the delegation and sharing our commitment to natural resource protection and sustainable development. We discussed our water resource management programs, biodiversity conservation, and visited our “Vlasinka” water plant, proudly AWS certified. Participants also enjoyed a walk along the restored hiking trail, part of our “Vlasina – Pure Love” initiative in collaboration with UNDP Serbia . A big thank you to all participants for their engagement and support! We look forward to continuing our joint ESG initiatives and fostering sustainable local development. #CocaColaHBC #ESG #ESGChampions #VlasinaPureLove #SustainableDevelopment

🌍 Volunteering for World Cleanup Day 2024 🌍 Volunteers from across our markets took part in events to mark World Cleanup Day 2024. From plogging - jogging and cleaning up - in Slovakia to restoring the flow of the River Mergupe in Latvia, our colleagues worked side by side with partners and communities to clean up their local environment. Here are just some of the events they were involved in: • In Bulgaria, more than 1,500 decares of polluted areas near water were cleaned up by hundreds of our employees and partner organisations as part of the 17th annual "My Green City" volunteer initiative. This event supports World Cleanup Day and across eight cities the volunteers collected nearly 2.6 tons of waste. • In Hungary, colleagues volunteered to clean waste from a three-kilometre stretch flood plain of the Tisza River. They collected 123 bags from land and water - almost three times the waste they collected last year. • In Latvia, our volunteers helped restore the flow of the River Mergupe with Pasaules Dabas Fonds, the associated partner of WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature) by removing two large beaver dams, which clog the river and stop the water flowing freely. Their efforts, which were led by experts, will help improve the overall ecosystem and natural diversity of the river and conditions and migration routes for fish. • In Slovakia, our volunteers enjoyed some plogging – jogging and clean up - in a recreational area near the city of Košice. • In Belarus, our colleagues in Minsk joined students and professors from the International Sakharov Environmental Institute of Belarusian State University who, along with nine universities across the country, clean locations and compete for prizes. • In Kosovo, our volunteers joined a clean-up in the town of Ballaban. Our Mission 2025 sustainability commitments include helping to collect the equivalent of 75% of our primary packaging and for 10% of our employees to volunteer. We are making good progress towards our commitments. Thank you to everyone who took the time to improve the environment they live in! 🌟♻️ Read more about our progress: bit.ly/3TUha3I   #WorldCleanUpDay #Sustainability #Mission2025

We were delighted that our colleague Galya Tsonkova joined one of the panels at Thomson Reuters’s Sustainability Europe 2024 to talk about how to structure reports to meet all our stakeholders’ requirements. We’ve been reporting transparently on our sustainability approach for more than 20 years. As Galya discussed, it’s important that reports tell our story in a compelling and educational way based on assured data. Like many other organsations, we’re now preparing our first CSRD-compliant report for 2025 and will continue to follow this approach and be authentic. 🌍☕ 𝗛𝗮𝗽𝗽𝘆 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝘆!☕🌍 We can relate to Sabrina Carpenter finding inspiration in coffee. At Coca-Cola HBC, we share the belief that each cup of coffee has its own story, from that Espresso to Cappuccino. Today, we celebrate the passion, dedication, and craftsmanship that goes into every bean, from the sustainable coffee farms of our brands to your favourite mug. We are proud to bring you two exceptional coffee experiences through our beloved brands, Costa Coffee and Caffè Vergnano. Costa Coffee: born and grown in London, is a contemporary solution for every coffee moment, at work, at home, on the go, in cafes, in restaurants and hotels.  Caffè Vergnano 1882: being the oldest Italian Roaster and officially recognised as a historic Italian brand, offers authentic Italian premium coffee experience in targeted high-end establishments. And just like Sabrina sings in her hit song “Espresso,” we know that sometimes all you need is a little pick-me-up to get through the day.  So, let’s raise a cup to the farmers, baristas, and coffee lovers around the world who make every coffee moment special. Here’s to many more shared coffee moments and the joy they bring!

We’ve been monitoring the severe floods in Europe and are staying close to our people and communities in the countries affected by them. In Austria, the Czech Republic and Slovakia, Hungary, Poland and Romania, we’re offering support and co-ordinating our efforts with governments, NGOs and our local teams. We’ve been delivering beverages to communities and so far, over 270,000 liters of our products have been distributed through the network of local charities and municipalities. Minas Agelidis, Regional Director at Coca-Cola HBC, says: “Our thoughts are with the communities, customers and our colleagues in areas that have been so badly affected by these devastating floods. “We’re providing essential assistance to the communities and local authorities to support the relief efforts where possible. We stand ready to help in the most meaningful ways we can.” Read more: bit.ly/4diyruw
