💡Alongside our regular public events, our working groups (Legal and Tax, Tooling and Technology, Founders Club and Organizational Structure) are also actively engaged thanks to our members’ participation. We had some exciting discussions about Nouns DAO at our last Organizational Structure meeting! 🙏 Many thanks to Nicolas Joël Greber and Nicolas Eschenbaum from Center for Cryptoeconomics for sharing their insights on how arbitrageurs can exploit forks within DAOs, and for proposing innovative solutions to tackle this challenge. Using the example of Nouns DAO, they demonstrated how a forking mechanism intended to decentralize and protect against majority attacks can unintentionally create arbitrage opportunities for speculators.Their presentation also explored governance mechanisms and highlighted the risks of giving DAO members indirect access to the treasury. 🎉Join us or attend our events!
