We were excited to be able to present our new vision for DayOne at our Stakeholder Forum event yesterday evening on Novartis Campus. Selected members of our community were the first to learn how we will continue to support the next generation of healthtech ventures and be a trusted long-term collaborator for startups, investors and our partners. Our new vision is to be a launchpad for healthtech ventures at the interface with pharma and medtech in the Basel Area – Europe’s leading innovation hub in life science. Thank you to Kaspar Sutter from The Office of Economy and Labour, Canton of Basel-Stadt for helping to kick off our event, and to Chandana Fitzgerald for giving everyone an overview of key trends in the digital health industry. We were also able to run three informative panel discussions on how pharma companies and startups can better collaborate, investment trends that are shaping healthtech, and medtech’s strategic position and influence in the industry. Thank you to our great panelists: TH KIM, PhD MPH CFA, Daniel Dillinger, Jochen Hurlebaus, Luca Emili, Jean-Pierre Pennacino, Marc Cikes, Beat Lechmann, Clémence Hermann, and Carsten Laue. We’re looking forward to rolling out our relaunched programs next year. In the meantime, if anyone would like to discuss any aspect of this, please feel free to reach out to our directors Ursula Costa or Caoimhe Vallely-Gilroy. #InnovateInBasel #DayOne #Healthtech #Medtech #Pharma
