Jetraw’s first impact is here! 🔥 Launched publicly just last week, Jetraw has already been in use by early adopters since April. The results are impressive, and today, we’re excited to share an case study from a research facility 🔬, highlighting how Jetraw has transformed their workflow. We’re incredibly proud to have introduced Jetraw technology to the CEO of Bosch—another exciting milestone. A few weeks ago, Dotphoton was honoured to be one of only 14 startups, selected from 180 working with Bosch, to attend the prestigious Open Bosch Award 2024 event. Working with Bosch over the past few years has been an incredible journey. Data for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) 🚘  requires top-tier quality, which is large, expensive to store, and results in large CO2 emissions. Traditional compression methods either fail in safety-critical applications (lossy) or are inefficient (lossless). Bosch put Jetraw Core compression through rigorous tests and helped in tailoring it to the automotive ecosystem, which proved to be both efficient and optimized for AI and safety-critical use. At the Open Bosch Awards event, we had the privilege of presenting our results to the CEO of Bosch Stefan Hartung alongside Andreas Feder, Nitin T., and Claus Spizig. The outcomes so far? 💰 Cost savings 📈 Enhanced performance 🌳 Reduced CO2 impact And that’s just the start. Excited to share more as we move along together! ICML 2024 in Vienna is in full swing, and our Head of ML, Luis Oala, will co-host the DMLR (Data-Centric Machine Learning Research) workshop tomorrow, exploring datasets for foundation models. The workshop will address the growing importance of dataset size, quality, diversity, and provenance for large-scale models. The main focus is on strategies to enhance data quality, such as filtering, augmentation, and relabelling. The goal is to advance methods for dataset curation to develop robust models that can tackle diverse challenges and benefit the public.
