Yesterday, I was invited to Cadillac & GM Ventures brunch, a community gathering in Zurich. It was inspiring to see how the General Motors team is committed to the solid growth of its presence in the EU through promoting EVs in its portfolio, constant innovation in safety and emissions reduction. To share some insights and anticipations coming from the panellists Mehran Zaker, Andreas Kyrtatos, and Andrew Cunningham: 1) Many anticipated innovations won't come as a one-day change but will be implemented gradually i.e. unmanned systems seem to start their commercialization first from industrial logistics 2) EV driving range will continue to rise and exceed 800km, even if it's not needed for most cases 3) Smartphone-vehicle integration will become smarter and more comprehensive. For example, one could turn climate systems to cool or heat the vehicle beforehand. It is great to check that Voltcore can contribute to these moves with our smart, energy-efficient heating solutions.
