We've reached eight years of dedication, commitment, and major achievements in our mission to transform lives and improve our planet's health by supporting the development of rural communities and, simultaneously, reducing urban population through the relocation of urban families to small communities. During this time, we've worked tirelessly and advocated to reverse the migration trend to cities. We're clearly swimming against the current. However, we're also seeing more and more people waking up to the question: Why do we have to live in overcrowded cities that are inhospitable and harmful to our environment? We want to express our deep gratitude to all who have been part of this journey: our collaborators, allies, volunteers, beneficiaries, and supporters. Their unwavering support has been essential for every achievement and positive impact we've achieved together. Every step taken has been made possible by their trust, solidarity, and commitment. It encompasses all who move, regardless of the reason. In fact, the larger population migrates within borders. According to the International Organization for Migration, the number of internal migrants in 2009 reached 740 million, contrasting with 221 million individuals involved in international migration in 2010. 🌱 ES VICIS concentrates its efforts on 🏡 tackling Internal Migration. Empowering women entrepreneurs and fostering regional connections are key pillars of our program. Last week, in Santa Fe, Argentina, we visited 5 small villages—Murphy, Maggiolo, San Eduardo, Carmen, and Labordeboy—bringing top-notch education.
