ETFbook, a leading provider of ETF data and analytics, is pleased to announce the appointment of Tomas Frabasile as Senior Product Manager, based in Frankfurt, Germany. Tomas will be instrumental in advancing ETFbook's product strategy and offering. His appointment underscores ETFbook's commitment to enhancing platform capabilities and expanding its global footprint. Tomas brings a wealth of experience in the asset management industry, with a distinguished career spanning market intelligence, management consulting, corporate strategy, and M&A. Prior to joining ETFbook, he served as Head of Market Intelligence at STOXX, a subsidiary of Deutsche Börse, where he played a pivotal role in leveraging industry data to inform corporate strategy and support client and product development initiatives. His earlier career includes significant contributions at Allianz Global Investors, where he was involved in M&A projects and strategic initiatives, and McKinsey & Company, where he specialized in the asset management sector. In his new capacity at ETFbook, Tomas will be responsible for driving product innovation and strategy to ensure that ETFbook continues to meet the ever-evolving needs of clients across various segments and geographies. He will oversee the translation of client requirements into actionable product features and manage key projects from concept through to oversight of implementation. Historic day for Borsa Italiana’s #ETFPlus with a record 104,416 trades yesterday, Aug 5th. ETFbook offers further insights into these 104,416 trades, which totaled €1,025 million, through its dynamic platform. Key observations include: 1) Significant issuer/product diversification in this volume. 2) Equity accounted for 68% of the volume, Fixed Income for 19%, and Commodities for 8%. 3) The majority of the trading occurred on Lit market. 4) Notably, Active ETFs represented 5% of the total trade volume.
