🌍 𝐖𝐄𝐁𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐑 𝐓𝐎𝐃𝐀𝐘! 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐛𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐬 - 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐞 𝐨𝐫 𝐅𝐚𝐥𝐬𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐞? 🌍 📅 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐞: TODAY  🕒 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞: 4pm CET / 10am EST 🔗 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐞: https://lnkd.in/dnSTZwEw A few months ago, Neal Spackman, wrote a deeply insightful and candid article that ignited debate throughout the world of Blue Carbon. Nevertheless, 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐚𝐥𝐬𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐁𝐥𝐮𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐛𝐨𝐧 (https://lnkd.in/exDvFwhw) rightly highlighted some of the key challenges facing the vital work being done in Nature-Based Solutions around the world. At Fair Carbon, our mission is to support the development and success of high-quality blue carbon projects. That's why we wanted to sit around a table with Neal, for him to share with us his thoughts and practical advice on how to tackle some of these challenges head-on. Join us for an insightful (and friendly 😉) debate on the current landscape and future of blue carbon credits.  Speakers: Neal Spackman - Founder, Stealth Mode Edit Kiss - Co-Founder and Managing Partner, Capital Continuum Advisers Moderator: Diana Denke - CEO & Co-Founder, Fair Carbon

🌏 Yet more research highlighting the power of Blue Carbon 🌏 We're happy to share another study revealing that conserving and restoring peat swamp forests and mangroves in Southeast Asia could mitigate nearly half (!!!) of the region's land-use change carbon emissions. This study underscores the critical role of blue carbon ecosystems in the global fight against climate change. At Fair Carbon, we see this as further evidence of blue carbon's potential not just for carbon sequestration but also for enhancing biodiversity and supporting local communities. So to all the Blue Carbon project developers out there, don’t give up!! 🔗 Read the full study here:  https://lnkd.in/gx2-zTvp #BlueCarbon #ClimateAction #Sustainability #FairCarbon
