At HORAGE, our quest for precision often leads us to unexpected sources of inspiration. When designing the dial for the Supersede Dual Time, we realized we were already wearing the answer—denim. Most of us have a favourite pair of jeans, and this sparked our journey into the world of selvedge denim, a fabric prized for its durability and craftsmanship. The Redline Selvedge, dating back to 1927, is one of the most sought-after examples, revered for its unique out-seam edges and meticulous weave. Inspired by this timeless fabric, we crafted a dial that mirrors the texture and quality of selvedge denim, with red and white highlights paying homage to its iconic stitching.
