This year too, we were among the main sponsors of the FFDUL (“Human Rights Film Festival Lugano”), now in its eleventh edition. From 10 to 20 October, the Festival screened over 30 films, telling stories of inequality and violation of human rights, also through meetings with experts, witnesses and activists from various NGOs. For IBSA, respect for the person is a critical value, and supporting this event means sharing and promoting a message of solidarity, inclusiveness and hope. 🔹 Find out more in our latest news: https://lnkd.in/dqAbRayi #IBSA #CaringInnovation #ffdul24 #humanrights

[Discovering Fellowships 🔬] Glucocorticoid drugs are essential for many patients, due to their powerful anti-inflammatory action, but their side effects can compromise the quality of life. In 2020, Jan Kroon was the winner of the IBSA Foundation Fellowships in the endocrinology area: his research is aimed at identifying the cofactors responsible for the development of these contraindications. This study paves the way for the development of new glucocorticoids – devoid of side effects – to improve the effectiveness of these treatments. 🔹 Watch the video to learn more! #IBSA #CaringInnovation #DiscoveringFellowships #IBSAFoundation #scientificresearch #Fellowships IBSA Foundation for scientific research
