📢 Team Spotlight – Meet Noël 🏒💪🚀  Finance & Partnership Manager | 财务与合作伙伴经理  BSc Business Administration (Betriebsökonomie) | Specialization in International Financial Management    Why Insight China?  Noël was inspired to join Insight China by his strong curiosity to explore the Chinese culture, economy, and business practices. In today’s global landscape, understanding diverse markets and cultures is invaluable—and China plays a central role in this. The project’s perfect blend of theoretical knowledge, practical experience and the opportunity to make valuable connections further appealed to him.   Outside the academic setting, Noël sees Insight China as a fantastic space for collaboration. Working with motivated peers has not only strengthened his organizational and communication skills but also developed a keen ability to work in an intercultural setting.  Overall, the mix of cultural exchange, teamwork, and real-world experience sealed the deal for Noël. What does Noël's role involve?  As the Finance & Partnership Manager, he is at the heart of Insight China’s strategic relationships, ensuring the project's financial health and sustainability. Including:  ➡️ Building and nurturing partnerships with key companies and organizations  ➡️ Monitoring and managing the project budget  ➡️ Conducting fundraising and sponsorship outreach  ➡️ Overseeing contract management and financial reporting  👀 Did you know? Noël already had a successful career as an ice hockey player! The sport instilled essential qualities such as team spirit, discipline, and perseverance, which continue to benefit him in his role at Insight China and in his auditing position at Ernst & Young.  Noël summed up in Emoticons  🏒💪🚀 represent his athletic past as a hockey player, his ambition, and his drive to always do his best and reach new heights, both in sports and in his current role at Insight China. 📢 Team Spotlight – Meet Margot 👜  Coordination & Communication Manager | 协调与沟通经理  BSc International Business Management (trinational) Margot is passionate about intercultural connections and broadening her global perspective. As part of a trinational degree program, she has embraced every opportunity to deepen her understanding of diverse cultures:  ➡️ Studied in Switzerland, Germany, and France  ➡️ Spent a semester abroad in Indonesia, which further fueled her curiosity about Asian cultures Her role within Insight China allows her to channel this curiosity while strengthening her communication and coordination skills. What inspired Margot to join Insight China?  ➡️ She first heard about the program during her first year and saw it as the perfect way to explore the business world while expanding her cultural horizons. Her time in Indonesia only deepened this curiosity, and Insight China was the next step on her journey to understanding Asia. 👀 Did you know – Margot has set herself the exciting challenge of visiting every continent before she turns 30 and she’s already halfway there! Just like a woman’s handbag that carries essentials, she carries a wide range of skills and experiences to every role she takes on, whether as an athlete, student, waitress, teacher or communications manager – you can find all you need in her ‘bag’. Today, he stays immersed in the fast-paced digital world, skillfully blending his passion for organization, customer relations, and continuous improvement in a dynamic environment as a Sales Coordinator and SAP Key user at Bell. Björn outside Insight China: Björn is an adventurous spirit at heart. Constantly seeking new opportunities to grow and learn – both physically and mentally. Whether it’s exploring the great outdoors and its wildlife, hiking, motorbiking, or taking on new challenges, there are no better emojis to describe him than 🏞🕵♂️ .
