From Nature targets to Nature action
Info
Your company took the 1st step: Wanting to nurture nature & set up targets. Now comes step 2, choosing an impact partner. But who? By restoring coastlines with us, you create real, holistic & data-backed impact, you can easily communicate with your stakeholders. Join us to restore 1% of the planet's coasts before 2030. The clock is ticking... 🐠 Start restoring: https://www.inverto.earth ____________ 🌱 Dig deeper 🐊 Why it matters: By now we've lost 85% of our natural coastlines, and almost 50% are already beyond recovery. But for your company & all of us to thrive, they are crucial: Climate = They capture carbon faster & more permanently compared to many land-based ecosystems. Biodiversity = They provide crucial habitats for many threatened species on land and in the water. People = They help to stabilise & protect coastlines for the benefit of local communities, as well as improving fish stocks and many other ecosystem services. 🌿 Our solution: We restore coastal ecosystems through the support of companies. Trees are crucial, but an ecosystem is so much more, from the other plants, to the animals and the local people as well. Your company can purchase 3x3m nature units for CHF9. In exchange you get: Real restoration (we are on the ground & restore together with locals our global coastlines) Impact on climate (each unit captures 12kg Carbon annually) Impact on Biodiversity (each unit supports directly 20+ animal habitats) Impact on People(each unit supports restoration and monitoring jobs, and creates $6.0 equivalent value for coastal protection) Data collection (state-of-the-art methods combined with indigenous knowledge, including environmental DNA, acoustic monitoring, camera traps & our customised drone payloads in the hands of local communities) Share your impact story (QR Code on product, Website integration) 🐼 Who we work with: WWF, Verity, Delta Blue Carbon, Universitas Gadjah Mada

We're excited to announce our partnership with HP 3D Printing to take action on the regeneration of nature with our mangrove restoration project in Indonesia! Watch this space to see as we measure and report on the climate, biodiversity and social impacts of the regeneration of this ecosystem.
🌿 Partnering with Inverto Earth to Restore 18,000m² of Mangrove Forest in Indonesia 🌿 We're excited to announce our new collaboration with Inverto Earth, a Swiss nature tech start-up led by Jürg Germann and Cameron Dowd. Their innovative approach combines local expertise, data, and technology to restore ecosystems on a large scale. 🌱 Our Commitment 🌏 Indonesia has lost nearly 8 billion m² of coastal ecosystems in the past 50 years. Together with Inverto Earth, we're reversing this trend. Our support for the Mojo Village project aims to protect over 20 plant species, including mangroves, and more than 50 animal species. This initiative not only enhances carbon sequestration but also strengthens local biodiversity. 🌿🐟 How We're Helping 🤝 - Restoration: Committing to restore 18,000m² over the next 5 years. - Technology: Providing high quality 3D printed parts manufactured with HP Multi Jet Fusion Technology for drone payloads to enable remote planting and monitoring. 🚀 Why Coastal Ecosystems Matter 🌊 - Biodiversity: Crucial habitats for threatened species on land and in water. 🐦🦀 - Climate: Capture carbon at rates up to 4x faster than many land-based ecosystems. 🌍 - Community: Protect aquaculture ponds, a key livelihood source, and provide habitat for local fish and crab species. 🦐 Measuring Success 📊 - Area of ecosystem restored - Impact-focused spending (>75% on-ground restoration) 💸 - Additional metrics: tree count, seagrass area, crab species detected, coastal protection value, and more. 📈 What's Next? 🛠️ - Baseline studies of the natural mangrove forest in Central Java - Trial planting to match the local floral diversity - Monitoring growth and impact on animal species 🦩 Climate change and biodiversity loss can seem overwhelming, but together we can make a significant difference. With this partnership, we take another step toward fulfilling our climate and nature promises towards a more sustainable and just world. Let's scale coastal ecosystem restoration together. 🌿 🤝Feel free to connect with Jürg and Cameron for any questions about coastal ecosystems or Inverto Earth. #Climate #Biodiversity #Partnership #HP #InvertoEarth #restoration #ecosystem #remoteplanting #climate #community #drones #sustainability #sustainableactions #3DbyHP #manufacturepossibilities #HPMultiJetFusion #HPMJF #3DPrinting #Additivemanufacturing
