This ambitious project spanned 15 years and involved over 1,000 team members. Prysmian PowerLink from Italy, with the Viking Link Project (UK & Denmark). With a total duration of 4.5 years, and more than 700 individuals contributed to its success. Harbin Electric Company Limited (Harbin Electric International Company Limited) from UAE, with the HASSYAN Power Plant Project. This project lasted 7 years and included a team of over 55,500 people. 🔹 Strengthening Global Collaboration in Project Management 🔹 On October 23, Prof. Dr. Mladen Vukomanović, IPMA President, and Prof. Dr. Ronggui Ding, IPMA Vice President of Research & Publications, met with Vice President Ms. Yu Xiaohong at the China International Contractors Association (CHINCA) headquarters in Beijing. CHINCA, with over 1,300 international contractors—including over 80 on the ENR225 list—plays a pivotal role in global infrastructure projects across 180+ countries. We’re also excited to share the approval of the IPMA International Engineering Supply Chain SIG, initiated by CHINCA. This partnership represents a significant step forward, as IPMA and CHINCA collaborate to elevate standards and spark innovation within the global engineering supply chain.
