  • Maison L’Occitane en Provence Steps Up to Support Communities Affected by Natural Disasters As the frequency and intensity of natural disasters across the world continue to rise, Maison L’Occitane en Provence remains steadfast in its commitment to supporting impacted communities with meaningful and immediate action. Recent events in Valencia, Mayotte, and California have demonstrated the urgent need for solidarity, and the L’Occitane Foundation and the brand’s subsidiaries have mobilised to help those in need. - Valencia Floods - After the devastating floods in Valencia on 28-29 October, Laboratoires M&L partnered with their Spanish supplier, Vantage, to deliver 1,000 essential kits to those affected. Maison L’Occitane en Provence further supported recovery efforts through the L’Occitane Foundation, which granted €20,000 to the Altius Foundation. These funds enabled the deployment of a team to deliver first-aid assistance, essential goods, and long-term recovery efforts. L’Occitane Spain also contributed by donating in-kind supplies to support vulnerable populations. - Cyclone Chido in Mayotte - In response to Cyclone Chido, which struck Mayotte on 14 December, the L’Occitane Foundation provided essential funding to two critical organisations working on the ground: €20,000 to ACTED, to combat food insecurity and support recovery efforts. €60,000 to Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders), to construct two private hospitals and provide essential healthcare. Laboratoires M&L also sent eight pallets of hygienic products to support families and individuals in need. - California Wildfires - As California continues to battle devastating wildfires, Maison L’Occitane en Provence has supported relief efforts through its North American subsidiary, which donated $30,000 to Red Cross America. Additionally, a one-month fundraising campaign was launched across all US stores and online platforms, aiming to raise $20,000 in customer donations. L’OCCITANE North America will triple this amount, bringing the total contribution to $60,000, which will go to Americares to provide essential medical supplies and health services to those affected. - A Commitment to Solidarity - Maison L’Occitane en Provence, through the L’Occitane Foundation and its subsidiaries, reaffirms its dedication to helping communities in times of crisis. Guided by the values of solidarity, care, and environmental responsibility, these actions aim to deliver both immediate relief and long-term recovery. Our thoughts are with all those affected by these disasters. #MaisonLOccitaneEnProvence #LOccitaneFoundation #LOCCITANEGroup 📸 Image Credits: Photo 1: AP Photo / Alberto Saiz Photo 2: Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) Photo 3: AP Photo / Noah Berger

Clarisse Crémer's journey really has been one of courage, commitment, and grit in the Vendée Globe. It took Clarisse Crémer 77 days, 15 hours, 34 minutes, and 28 seconds to complete her second run at the world’s most demanding solo race, which is an extraordinary achievement. But the real story isn’t just about numbers. It’s about resilience, overcoming adversity, and pushing limits - values that resonate deeply with everyone at L’OCCITANE Group and Maison L’Occitane en Provence. Her journey was not easy. From the moment she set sail, Clarisse faced relentless storms, technical challenges, and moments of deep exhaustion. There were setbacks with equipment failures, navigation issues, and even days when she was sailing blind, without her onboard computers. There were moments of joy when spotting albatrosses near Cape Horn, celebrating her birthday at sea, and the sheer exhilaration of racing through the world's most remote waters. Through it all, she never gave up. She sailed with the same authenticity, passion, and perseverance that have defined her career. For Maison L’Occitane en Provence, supporting Clarisse was about more than just a race. It was about championing a mindset - one that embraces challenges, respects nature, and pushes for excellence without compromise. Clarisse, your journey is an inspiration to us all. Félicitations on this incredible achievement. You are a true champion! #VendéeGlobe #ClarisseCrémer #MaisonLOccitaneenProvence #LOCCITANEGroup

L’OCCITANE Group said this week that it has been working with data platform provider LoweConex to maintain control over its energy consumption across its real estate. The bath, body, and skincare brand has partnered with LoweConex to create a more sustainable retail estate by collecting all heating, ventilation and air conditioning data in one platform so it can monitor asset performance and take greater control of its energy consumption. The ultimate aim of the tie-up is for L’Occitane to achieve significant energy and cost reductions across its store estate, helping contribute to the brand’s wider sustainability ambitions which includes a target to become a net zero organisation by 2050. cc.
