I was honored to attend the LEGIC Connect24 event last week, where I had the privilege to discuss the future of Access Control and IoT innovations. 🚀 During the event, I had the opportunity to present #BuildingX #SecurityManager' cutting-edge solutions, including our collaboration with John Harvey, Patrick Wimmer & Tine Mayr from Legic to implement mobile credential solutions. We explored the introduction of mobile credentials and shared insights on the challenges of rolling out this technology within Siemens. Thanks also to the great moderator Lee Odess Additionally, we discussed the upcoming #Apple Wallet Key Pass solution —set to redefine mobile access by mimicking the experience of physical credentials, much like using a virtual credit card. A key highlight for me was showcasing our BX Security Manager and Siemens Corporate Access Control, in collaboration with Sven Jochmann (AUTEC Gesellschaft für Automationstechnik mbH) Carsten Hoersch (ELATEC GmbH) and their innovative new card readers. Together, we are paving the way for smarter, more secure access solutions. Connect24 brought together experts and enthusiasts from Access Control, Smart City, Smart Mobility, Smart Industry, and Critical Infrastructure sectors, fostering innovation through networking and idea exchange. 🎉 On September 12, we kicked off with Partner Day at the FIFA Museum. A memorable day featuring a motivational speech by former FIFA referee Urs Meier, who emphasized teamwork's importance. ⚽ Participants engaged in a fun activity using LEGIC cards (red, yellow, blue) to decide on critical soccer scenes, highlighting decision-making's role in sports and entrepreneurship. 🍽️ The day concluded with an impressive flying dinner and a tour of the FIFA Museum. 💡 Day two was packed with engaging presentations on Self-Sovereign Identity (SSI), securing logistics chains, mobile wallets, and building communication innovations. 🛠️ The exhibition showcased around 30 technology and service providers. Zwei spannende Tage voller Innovation und Networking im Herzen von Zürich! 🇨🇭 Ich freue mich, an der LEGIC connect24 teilgenommen zu haben. Der Austausch zu den neuesten Trends in den Bereichen Zutritt, Identifikation und mobile Technologien hat mir wertvolle Einblicke gegeben und interessante Gespräche ermöglicht. 🚀💡 Nach einem kurzweiligen Vortrag am Vorabend im FIFA Museum, bei dem uns Schiedsrichter Legende und Keynote Speaker Urs Meier mit legendären Momenten des Fußballs in Nostalgie schwelgen ließ, hatten wir u.a.
