🚀 Introducing the new LEM SMU family of sensors for accurate SOC estimation across all EV technologies! 🚗🔋 Discover the new SMU family, bringing unprecedented performance levels to all types of EVs – from Full Hybrid Electric Vehicles (FHEVs) to Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEVs) and Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs). Key Highlights: ✅ Intelligence and performance: The latest Application-Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) designed by LEM, the LEM9, adds intelligence at the Battery Disconnect Unit (BDU) level, and makes it possible to measure environmental factors while ensuring high accuracy (1% accuracy up to 1300 A and <1.7% up to 1500 A) . ✅ Versatility and robustness: SMU covers a wide current range of +/-1500 A, and shows high isolation (> 800 V), ✅ Flexible Compact Design: Measuring just 29.1mm (H) x 35.5mm (W) x 49.9mm (L) and compatible with busbars of 2mm to 3mm. ✅ Functional safety: SMU satisfies the stringent Automotive Safety Integrity Level (ASIL) requirements built into the ISO 26262 standard for functional safety in vehicles. The first version to enter the market is ASIL B ready with the possibility to extend it to ASIL C. 🚀 New chapter for LEM in China! We are expanding our presence in China with new offices in Shanghai, alongside our existing site in Beijing. Our two locations will enable us to meet the growing demand for current and voltage sensors in the region, and to deliver solutions more quickly to our Chinese customers. The 1,600 sqm Shanghai site, home to around 30 employees, strengthens our R&D capabilities and supports various key functions such as Sales or Product management – with room to keep growing!
