Hello, My name is Pia Gans de St. Pré, I am a consultant and teacher for gluten and lactose free baking, and my study of nutrition started when I was first diagnosed with a severe intolerance to gluten several years ago. As you may know, gluten and/or lactose intolerances can have serious repercussions on everyday life. They need a special diet where not only most gluten-free goods are made with high-carb ingredients such as rice flour, potato starch, and corn meal but also cost a fortune... and to be completely honest, don't taste great! Being an epicurean I have given this a lot of thought, and this reflection has given birth to « Les Intolérants Gourmands ». I truly believe there is a need to improve the quality of products offered at a very reasonable price. Today, I'm happy to propose both a wide range of delicious gluten and lactose-free baked goods and a choice of cooking workshops where I will share my own personal recipes.
