Lombard Odier is pleased to announce the appointment of Frédéric Praz as Head of Private Client activities for the France, Belgium, and Luxembourg region, effective 1 September 2024. He will join the Private Clients Executive Committee. With over 30 years of banking experience, Frédéric Praz has led the Swiss International market at Lombard Odier since 2017. His new role includes advancing Lombard Odier’s growth strategy in the European Francophone markets, a key region for the Group. This appointment is part of Gérard Felley’s succession plan as he approaches retirement. Gérard, who has been responsible for the region since 2016, will continue to lead the Grandes Familles teams and maintain his role as a member of the Private Clients Executive Committee. Frédéric Rochat, Managing Partner and Co-Head of the Private Clients Division, commented: “We are convinced that Frédéric Praz’s deep knowledge and experience of Francophone markets, his natural proximity to clients, and his ability to create cohesion within geographically remote teams are key assets for our Firm’s future success in the region.
