The MTx team thoroughly enjoyed attending and sponsoring this year’s Transplant Games of America in Birmingham, Alabama which ended yesterday.   Beyond the inspirational sport events the team was especially moved by the “donor quilts” which are comprised of individual quilt squares dedicated to organ donors.   Attending and meeting patients and their advocates has been incredibly valuable for our team as it helps us to best understand the day-to-day challenges faced by organ recipients.
