Montreux Media Ventures (MMV), is the newly launched commercial and production arm of the Festival. Its primary role is to take the Festival into a full 360 media company and create and produce content for the Festival and its partners. Everything from music strategy to full live performances, behind the scenes interviews, podcasts, vinyl and experiential experiences. An audience first approach is always at the centre of all creative decisions. Dear Friends Please help us educate the world about a devastating disease – POLG! Today begins WORLD MITOCHONDRIAL DISEASE AWARENESS WEEK—a crucial global event dedicated to raising awareness about mitochondrial diseases. These diseases rob individuals of their energy, causing serious health problems, including seizures, muscle weakness, and organ failure. POLG research also proves promising for common diseases, such as Alzheimer’s, bipolar disorder, Diabetes and many forms of cancer. Due to the multitude and varying symptoms, POLG mitchondrial disease is often misunderstood and underfunded, which makes raising awareness and securing research funding a continuous struggle. To address this, The PolG Foundation has produced a short 5 minute film, showing the very personal stories of Frederik and a few other young POLG patients. This film was directed by Mei Fa Tan and produced on behalf of The PolG by Michelle Goff Thibaud Megevand and Montreux Media Ventures . By sharing this film you will help spread the word and help raise awareness and the essential funds needed for research and treatment.
